So you want to join a choir? But you don’t feel you have the voice, confidence or the singing skills to cope and need some support?

You’ve come to the right place! It will be my absolute pleasure to help you find your voice, build your confidence and learn the essential singing skills that will let you take that leap and join a choir.

We will work together in a group so that you can learn with people in the same boat.

It will be loads of fun, gentle yet challenging. You’ll learn everything you need to know including:

  • Breathing
  • Posture
  • Support
  • Tone production
  • Projection
  • Finding high and low notes
  • What your range is (top and bottom notes) and therefore your recommended part in a choir – soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass
  • Singing in harmony – an essential skill and the beauty of the group situation is we can practice this a lot!
  • Singing in parts, rounds, canons…
  • Diction – shaping vowels, finishing words correctly (they’re big on this in choirs, let me tell you!)

Then off you go! I’ll wave a fond goodbye as you sing yourself off into the sunset!

If this sounds like amazing fun and a brilliant learning opportunity that will enable you to enjoy your singing more and open lots of doors then Contact Me to register your interest as I will be announcing August to December 2015 course dates and day workshops soon!
